The Prompt Evaluation Tool is a powerful feature designed to help you analyze and compare the performance of your generated prompts across different Large Language Models (LLMs) before you use them. It allows you to move beyond simply generating a prompt by giving you the ability to verify its effectiveness.
Available in the Chrome Extension only.
Functionality: The tool allows you to get any prompt graded, so you know how strong your prompt is.
Prompt Type Recognition: The tool automatically recognizes whether your prompt is for Text-to-Text, Image, or Video generation.
Feedback: You receive instant, actionable feedback in three categories:
Score: Your prompt receives a grade (e.g., "Fair (56/100)") indicating its overall strength.
Strengths: This section highlights the positive elements of your prompt, such as detecting a "Clear action verb".
Issues: This points out critical flaws that can lead to vague or poor AI replies, such as "Missing constraints" or "Missing output format".
Suggestions: The tool provides expert recommendations for improvement, such as adding explicit constraints or specifying a structured output format. This is especially useful because by refining your prompt to be more specific, you can save your ChatGPT daily limits simply by starting with a strong prompt.
Optimization: You can click the "Optimize Now" button to instantly rewrite your original idea, applying the recommended best practices to transform it into a high-quality Super Prompt.
How to Turn Evaluation Off
If you wish to pause the real-time feedback and evaluation, you can easily disable it using the Chrome Extension settings.
Click on the Prompt Genie icon located on the top bar of your browser.
In the pop-up window, click the "Settings" tab, at the bottom right.
Toggle Off: Locate the "Enable Prompt Evaluation" option.
Pause Evaluation: Click the toggle switch to move it to the "Off" position. This will pause the evaluation window and automated checks across all supported sites.
